Code of ethics
A rug connects the person who makes it with the person who lives with it. We believe both deserve care, respect and clarity.
These principles guide how we talk about our craft, help you choose a piece and remain part of the conversation once it is home.
Respect the people behind the rug.
Moroccan weaving is part of Vorug’s story. Its character comes from the skill and judgement of the people doing the work.
We believe that work deserves to be seen and understood. A finished piece should invite a closer look at the hands, material and decisions behind it.
Speak clearly about the piece.
Color, texture, dimensions and finish all matter. So do the price and estimated timing before you place an order.
Look closely at the information for the rug you are considering. If a detail is unclear, bring it into the conversation before you decide.
Give your choice the time it needs.
The right piece begins with your room and the way you live in it. Consider its proportions, the furniture around it and the materials you want to feel every day.
Our Rug Guide and advisor conversations are there to help you think through size, color and placement.
Keep care in the picture.
A rug becomes part of everyday life. Placement and care deserve attention after the first impression, too.
Use the Rug Guide for guidance. If you have a question or concern about your piece, contact us with a photograph and your order details so we can understand what you are seeing.
Keep the conversation open.
Questions about making, materials or an order belong in the conversation. You can reach Vorug through our contact page.
When you share your details with us, our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.
A question deserves a conversation.
If something about a rug, its making or your order is unclear, ask us. Share the piece you are considering or your order details, and tell us what you would like to understand.
